The Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee is gearing up for the 2009-2010 selection process. Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2009. The Chamber encourages our members to get involved with the organization and the Ambassador Committee is one of the best ways to achieve that goal.
Mission Statement The Ambassadors are the official public relations arm and welcoming committee of the Chamber. This committee is a membership outreach and retention program designed to involve and inform new members and retain existing members. Ambassadors are volunteers who, on behalf of the Chamber, make good will calls to encourage strong continuing membership and active support of all programs.
"Being an ambassador for the Chamber is an opportunity to meet new people, promote my business and have the opportunity to welcome new businesses to our community. I feel it is an opportunity to give something back and feel like a part of the community."
