Today the Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce
announced three new members who will serve on the Board of Directors for the
second half of the 2010 fiscal year.The new members are Nicholas M. Perkins, President of Perkins
Management Services Company; Jeff Schumacher, General Manager of The
Fayetteville Observer; and Natalie K. Young, Vice President of National
Promotions for Stork News.New members
are nominated and voted upon by the existing Board of Directors.
“It is imperative to have a diverse group of professionals
from our community serving on the Chamber Board of Directors,” said Dan
Dederick, Chair of the Board.“Our
three newest members will bring varied skills and experiences to the table,
making the Board of Directors a more dynamic group.”
The Chamber Board of Directors consists of 30
members and meets every month to discuss matters pertaining to the growth and
development of the community, while striving to provide opportunities to grow
local businesses.
