CROWN CENTER COMPLEX

The state-of-the-art Crown Coliseum opened in October 1997, and continues to serve Cumberland County and the surrounding area! This versatile facility is host to world-class concerts and performances, provides an ice floor for hockey and ice shows, and offers a wide variety of configurations for assemblies and exhibitions.

Seating Capacity: 10,880 center stage; 9,564 end of stage concerts/basketball; 10,100 banquet style; 7,000 half-house
Exhibit Area: 20,000 square foot exhibit floor, 100- 8 x 10 booth locations.
Stage: Portable 60' x 100', adjacent to elephant door loading and backstage area
Electrical - road show: 120/208 volts at two locations. Lighting: 800 Amps. Sound: 800 Amps at each show power room location.
Load-In: Trucks drive onto coliseum floor area. Two docks at the north end oft he arena level and two docks on the west side for kitchen access
Parking: 4,375 lighted parking spaces. Space for nine tractor-trailer vehicles on the north side. Power, water and waste disposal available
Rigging: Roof structure carries 120,000 lbs. Of rigging load plus weight of the scoreboard, speakers, catwalks and lighting, etc
Spotlights: House lights: mixture of metal halide and dimmer controlled quartz. Panel lights and hot restart lights: quartz. Sports performance lights: metal halide, pre-aimed and programmed for various performances with single button control per event.
Sound System: Center hung sound system which is serviceable from the catwalk. Conduit, raceway and junction boxes provided for sound system. Hospitality meeting room equipped with sound system.
Dressing Rooms: Four team dressing rooms. Two "star" rooms. One green room. One hockey team locker room.
Box Office: Main ticket office at north end, satellite ticket offices on west and east sides.
The luxuriously appointed Pre-function Area and Ballroom connect the Crown Coliseum and the Expo Center. These impressive areas are designed for meetings, banquets and social gatherings for groups of a few up to 660%. Fully carpeted, the Ballroom may be subdivided into four separate rooms by ceiling tracked, sound reducing walls allowing for concurrent events.
Capacity: Seating - 650 theater style; 250 - classroom style; 400 banquet style; 40- 10' x 10' booths
Exhibit Area: Pre-function - 3,250square feet; Ballroom - 8,000 square feet, sub-divided into four smaller areas, each room: 1,920 square feet

CROWN THEATRE

The versatile Theatre is ideal for a multitude of performances and events. The facility's superb acoustics make it popular for theater presentations, ballets, symphony orchestras, pageants and concerts as well as assemblies and meetings.

CROWN ARENA

This popular, multi-purpose facility hosts a wide variety of events. The facility accommodates concerts, indoor soccer and other sports events, and a wide array of meeting, assemblies and other exhibitions.

CROWN EXPO CENTER

The Expo Center is designed as a full-service, multi-purpose exhibit and meeting facility. Totally flexible, the center can be adapted for space needs as small as 10,000 square feet up to 60,000 square feet. The 1.3 acres of unobstructed space may be subdivided into four smaller sections of varying size by moveable, sound-controlling walls. Curtain systems allow for even further divisions.

Crown Hospitality Area

The Crown Expo Center adjoins the Crown Hospitality area...an 11,250 square foot Pre-function, Ballroom and Hospitality area ... the ultimate for distinctive meetings and gatherings. Escalators at the east entrance provide convenient access to this section as well as to the Coliseum main floor and the Expo Center.

These luxuriously appointed areas are designed for meetings, banquets and social gatherings for groups of just a few up to 650. The Pre-function area overlooks the east grounds and provides an informal entrance to the Ballroom. The impressive Ballroom may be subdivided into four separate rooms by ceiling tracked, sound-reducing walls allowing for concurrent events. Easily adaptable, it may be arranged theater style, classroom style or for banquets. A connecting 7,000 square foot kitchen furnishes complete food service facilities.

  • Seating Capacity: 7,000 theater style; 2,000 classroom style; 3,000 banquet style; 300 - 8 ' x 10' booths.
  • Exhibit Area: 60,000 square feet unobstruced space under one roof with separate dining/concession area.
  • Ceiling: 25 feet, no columns.
  • Electrical: 110V and 220V
  • Floor Load: Unlimited
  • Load-in: Two loading docks, truck doors: 16' x 20' and 12' x 14'
  • Kitchen Facilities: Complete, full service
  • Box Office: Two satellite ticket offices
